Giggs’ Full ‘Landlord’ Headline London Show

Last Friday marked a historic moment in British music. Giggs – South London’s godfather of UK rap – performed his long overdue 1st London headline, after years of being blocked and messed about by the powers that be. Missing this show was simply unacceptable, lucky for those who did is that Link Up TV caught and curated all the key moments that you can now watch online.

Weaving powerfully through songs from his 2016 album, Landlord, as well as a number of classics, it was an strong hour-long set with Giggs in superior form, joined by Skepta, Kano and Jme all onstage, plus Youngs Telfon, Donae’O and Aystar also coming out during the performances. The production was on point, Landlord themed with with intelligent neon lighting, dancers, spotlights, confetti shots, and so much more you don’t usually see at a UK rap concert.

This adds to an outstanding year for Giggs, from festival performances, international shows, awards and his independently released Landlord album hitting number 2 on the UK chart in August.
