Mo George


The British born actor has appeared on TV from the tender age of 11 – starring in a wide range of stage, film and television. His appearances span TV series The Biz, Renford Rejects, a guest appearance in Holy City and The Last detective. His stage performances include West End Musicals ‘Oliver’ and ‘Jolson’ – Roy Williams stage plays ‘Lift Off’ at the Royal Court and ‘Local Boy’ at the Hampstead theatre. Film roles include ‘Never Play with the Dead’ and ‘Lucky Dip’ but amongst all this he is most renowned for his popular and loveable portrayal of Gus Smith on BBC’s prime time soap, Eastenders. He remained in this role for 6 years.

Also a talented Poet/Rapper and DJ, Mo plays Funk House, Electro, Commercial RnB, Hip Hop, Reggae/Bashment and old school dance floor classics. He doesn’t just play, he mixes – incorporating the range popular club songs into his set.

Currently busy touring the UK, he also plays a regular night at the award winning Gilgamesh. Most recently (20/10/14) he stole the show at Hertfordshire University’s premier Urban Student Club-night, UNI–T – captivating hundreds of students with his unique style.
